Chem-E-Car Competition

To register for the competition at UIC, you must RSVP online as well as send a registration fee via check, which will cover expenses such as chemical storage, waste disposal, and lab equipment. Each university may have one team compete, and the cost will be $250. Checks can be written to the following address:

Each team must also bring a physical copy of their EDP to the conference. Awards are based off of car performance in two rounds. Certificates will be awarded to teams that score first, second, and third places. Teams that score first through fifth -place will qualify for the ASC. Teams that place sixth or after may email studentchapters@aiche.org requesting to be waitlisted for the ASC.
